St Georges Day

St George’s Day is celebrated on April 23rd each year in honor of Saint George, the patron saint of England. Though the day is not a public holiday, it holds cultural and historical significance, especially in English folklore. Saint George is best known for the legendary tale of slaying a dragon to save a princess—a story symbolizing bravery, chivalry, and the triumph of good over evil.
